National Avocado Day: DIY Avocado Face Masks!
Happy National Avocado Day! Here are some DIY face masks with avocados to add to your skincare routine.
Mask 1: Honey + Avocado → Take ¼ cup of ripe avocado, 2 tablespoons of raw honey, and ½ teaspoon of cider vinegar. Mix these ingredients in a bowl or process them in a food processor until smooth. Apply to your skin as you would with any other face mask and let dry. Once dried, wash off and follow up with your regular skincare routine.
Mask 2: Oats + Honey + Avocado Face Mask: Take ½ of an avocado, 1-2 teaspoons of honey, and 2 tablespoons of rolled oats. Combine these ingredients in a small bowl and apply to your face like any other mask. Let the mask sit for 20 minutes before washing and continuing with your regular skincare routine.
Mask 3: Avocado + Apricot Face Mask: Blend ½ of an avocado with 1 apricot until smooth. Apply to your face for 20 minutes to exfoliate dead skin cells and tighten the skin. Continue with your regular skincare routine after washing it off.
Mask 4: Lemon + Turmeric + Avocado + Yogurt Face Mask: Combine 1 ripe avocado, 3-4 tablespoons of cold yogurt, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and a pinch of turmeric in a small bowl until smooth. Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 30 minutes to allow the ingredients to absorb into your skin.
