Yes, the latest beauty trend to take over Instagram is braided eyebrows. Eros Gomez, a 17-year old makeup artist posted a photo with photo-shopped eyebrows and since then people have come up with all kinds of ways to get the "braided look" above their eyes.
Our friends over at Wikipedia write that the eyebrows' "main function is hypothesized to prevent sweat, water, and other debris from falling down into the eye socket, but they are also important to human communication and facial expression." Perhaps braided eyebrows are perfect for athletes and swimmers!
