Urban Hydration Launches their "Giving Tuesday" Campaign!
Urban Hydration – the beauty brand known for accessible, clean, and natural products that provide a holistic personal care experience – announces their “Giving Tuesday” program. Starting on Tuesday, December 1st, consumers can help donate directly to their “Give Good. Give Well. Give Life.” campaign to support the build of Urban Hydration’s own Giving Well – a clean drinking water well in Ukwala, Kenya, through a partnership with WATERisLIFE.
With a notable mission to save the planet through clean beauty, Urban Hydration Founder Psyche Terry aims to be a force for global good. Driven by Psyche’s dedication to community and giving back, in 2016, Urban Hydration committed to providing clean drinking water through a keystone partnership with WATERisLIFE. With each purchase of an Urban Hydration product, one gallon of water is donated to a community without the ease of access to clean drinking water.
Through the outpouring of consumer support for this initiative, Urban Hydration raised enough money to contribute to the construction of two clean drinking water wells in communities in Kenya from 2018 - 2019. Today, they are committed to building their very own Urban Hydration Giving Well - Ukwala Kenya Project through their “Give Good. Give Well. Give Life.” campaign, launching on this year’s “Giving Tuesday”.
Through two geological studies conducted by WATERisLIFE, the depth of drilling necessary for the well is estimated to cost at least $35,000. To date, approximately $2,500 has been raised through personal and community donations, but through continued awareness and support of the “Give Good. Give Well. Give Life.” campaign, 70,000 people will ultimately benefit from the completion of this new clean drinking water well.
