NAACP & BeyGood: Supporting Black-Owned Businesses

The NAACP is the largest and most pre-eminent civil rights organization in the nation, with over 2,200 units and branches across the nation, along with well over 2M activists. Their mission is to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.

This year, the NAACP has teamed up with Beyoncé on a mission to spread hope with a Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund.

The goal is to provide a lifeline for small businesses at the epicenter of dual pandemics. BeyGood has teamed up with the NAACP to expand economic opportunity by awarding grants of $10,000 on the 15th of each month through the end of 2020.

This month, the NAACP is delighted to administer BeyGOOD’s Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund to Urban Hydration Founder, Psyche Terry, with the goal to continue providing assistance to growing small businesses and promote economic empowerment.
