Bye Bye Grandma- International Places to Retire for under $30k per Year

CNBC shares that its more and more expensive for not just us to live with student loans and new kids and new partners in the mix but what about seniors like our retired parents and grandparents? If they are not starting the next dotcom or becoming the next senior instagram fashion influencer, with 90% of retirees living off of about $1400 a month, they may want to catch up on a foreign language.

Retired couples can move to luxurious places like Cambodia, Panama City, and Portugal for $1400-$2000 a month. With a beer running you $1.00, you can even have a house in the middle of the city or a downtown area for $500-$700 a month.

It’s said that not only is it affordable living but beautiful living. And frankly, I’m convinced that I need to start broadening my  linguistics now because if the pot is only $1400 now, my goodness what will it be in 30 years?

I suggest then even for us with no mind in sight for retirement to start vacations to these areas, find which is best suited for you so if and when the time comes you are ready and researched on tax laws, people, customs, food and transportation for your new potential final residence!

The average monthly Social Security check is $1,404, and more than 40 percent of single adults receive more than 90 percent of their income from that check, according to the government.
